House for Healthy Ageing is a renovation project transforming an existing building into a healthy, accessible and comfortable multigenerational home. The design combines daylight, indoor environmental quality, accessibility and Active House principles to support wellbeing and long-term living quality for different generations.

The project was developed for two generations of one family, creating independent yet connected living spaces adapted to different lifestyles, mobility needs and everyday comfort.

Special attention was given to healthy ageing strategies including barrier-free access, comfortable circulation and daylight-focused spaces supporting independent and healthy living over time.

The renovation integrates evidence-based design, energy-efficient solutions and sustainable transformation principles to improve indoor comfort, resilience and overall wellbeing.

The project demonstrates how existing housing can be transformed into healthier, more inclusive and more sustainable living environments through thoughtful renovation and human-centered architectural design.
